Reason to Celebrate....

God is Good! We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful family and we were truly reminded of that this weekend as we celebrated Christ's resurrection. After having a child of my own I have an even greater appreciation of the sacrifice that God made for us!

"He has risen, He has risen indeed!!!"

We started the weekend on Friday with fajitas at April and Jonathans' - yummy! Jonathan will be working in St. Louis for the next month so prayers for him please. Saturday Chuck's Mom made it in around noonish and my parents came soon thereafter. More fun ensued!

We decided to go the Saturday evening service since it was suppose to rain really hard the next morning (good thing we did!) Here's Dad in his Sunday best playing on the stairs with Sam before Church.

After church we had a new Chuck special..... dubbed "The Brantley Bombs". They are DELICIOUS patties filled with all kinds of yummies of your choice like cream cheese, pepper jack, jalapenos, and/or green chilies. Here's the grill master working his magic!

Susu named her's "The atomic bomb" because she asked for everything possible in her patty. It was AMAZING!!! We've decided Chuck should market them or something!
Can you say..... Jynormous?!?!?!?

Sam is enjoying some quality time with her Grams and Baba as we wait for it to stop raining and dry up. Baba was showing Sam how to talk on her play phone.

Around 5:00 the sun actually came out and seemed to dry everything up enough to hunt! So the hunting began.... and yes - she's still in her PJs.... when in Rome!!!

The problem was that Sam was so excited to go outside that she immediately took off, here's Grams trying to get her back to the hunt at hand!

She finally got the hang of it....

We ended the night with Auntie Ape giving her a much needed bath!

It was a wonderful weekend with family!
