Fireworks and Texas :) Last year there was a fire ban in the panhandle, and the spark-happy Nester boys were quite disappointed. THIS year, they might have gone a little overboard in their celebrating! ;)
The smaller ones enjoyed the view from the swings. Little Atticus was even so relaxed that he fit in a nap!
Uncle John and Tootz were super helpful!
Bigger kids' view from the trampoline...
The next day a huge family group of us went to see "Texas" the musical in the canyon. Matt stayed behind with Aunt Tiff and Hudson, but Sam was totally into the entire production!!
"Moooom, stop with all the pictures!"
The crew....
"Susu, I loved it!"
Paco and his admirers
So cooperative :)
Sam loved every moment of the show, pointed out her favorite costumes, songs, and dance acts. When asked though if, one day, she would want to be up on that stage she quickly said "NO! I don't want everyone looking at me!" Our daughter is a dancer at heart but just as shy as her Mommy!
We shall see what happens....... being in the "Texas" musical sure would make her Brantley family proud. What a wonderful tradition to continue :)
