Summer fun.....

We enjoyed a great weekend!! Our wonderful friends, Jared and Ariel came to play along with Katie, Max, and Jack! We were going non-stop all weekend and Sam loved every minute of it! With the weather as hot as it has been - lots of water was involved!!!

Out of the NUMEROUS swimming outings we made.... Sam's Mommy forgot to bring 2 swimmie diapers ONCE! Once was all Sam needed to remind me never to do that again!! Did you know that a regular diaper swells up to triple it's original size when submerged for an extended time?!! HA! Here's Sam after the enlarged diaper was switched for a new one :) this is also Sam 1 1/2 hrs PAST her nap time - still friendly.... just a little dazed!!

We are going to the lake in a few weeks and we wanted Sam to get use to a life jacket. She was great and would just roll over into this position and smile any time she got water in her face!

Reading a story to Sam

We had such a great time with everyone! We are constantly reminded of how truly blessed we are!

Wanted to end the blog with what looks to me to be an oxymoron. A girly girl with a pink barbie..... playing in her Daddy's manly red truck - gotta love it! :)
