Chuck's last effort at grasping childhood....

Saturday we surprised Chuck with a birthday party for his 30th! Yes... 30th! We rented a court and with 15 people we played a game called Whirlyball...... not sure what this, we'll neither was I. Chuck's school played it 2 years ago for a staff development and he has been raving about it ever since. It's a mix of bumper cars, basketball, and whiffle ball all rolled into one! Needless to say, it was a pretty crazy game! No one was an expert so we were all on pretty equal grounds which made for several fun, low-scoring games! Afterwards everyone came over to our house and we played board games and gave Chuck a hard time. It was a really fun night..... We are truly blessed with a GREAT group of friends!! We are so very thankful!

Getting our intro and speech about "rules". There really weren't any - just get the ball and hit the target with it.... I think out of all the games we played, probably 6-7, the actual target was hit 2-3 times! The rest of the points were pitty points the ref gave us!!

Kale and Sam gave their 2 cents throughout all of the games! They were very involved fans!!! :)
