"Papa yost my shoe!"

I keep meaning to post about this and I keep forgetting! We took these pictures a long time ago in anticipation of this post though :)

Last month when Papa and Grams were here Papa and Sam had a day all to themselves while Grams, Matt, April, and I went dress shopping with Misty. Papa had the whole day planned out including a trip to the zoo!! Sam LOVED it and still talks about the animals she saw at the zoo with Papa.

Towards the end of the day it started raining and according to Papa's story...... Sam lost her shoe at some point during their afternoon errands :)

Sam's story is that Papa lost her shoe :) and here is the sad face she gave every time she told someone.....

She told soooo many people that Papa decided to replace her lost shoes with some new pretty pink ones!! Sam LOVES them and each time we put them on she says something to the effect of... "do you yike my pretty shoes? Papa gave them to me." :)

Thanks Papa for the pretty pink shoes!!

Fall Festivities....

YAY for Fall weather!! It's been absolutely beautiful here lately!! I just love this time of year.... and so does Sam, every day we walk outside she says, "Mom, it's not too hot! It's such a beautiful day!" Yes, she is my corny daughter!! :)

Today Chuck had off so we took advantage and went to a pumpkin patch in Flower Mound. It was awesome!!

There were lots of places to get great photo ops so we took advantage....

There were characters all around and we HAD to take a picture next to Jesse since she is one of the toys Mommy hold hostage until Sam tee-tees on the potty!! :) Hey, whatever works right? :)

It was IMPOSSIBLE to get both of them looking at the camera at the same time!

Matt wasn't too sure about the little people behind him as you can see from the look on his face - ha!

Our fall enjoyment continues as we enjoyed a Calloways event the other day....

Our friends, the Olsons met us there.....

Wonderful weekend!!

Despite the fact that the Longhorns lost, we still had an AWESOME weekend!! What wonderful weather!!! We enjoyed as much of it as possible with all our busy-ness this weekend!

Not only did we go to the Calloway's festival we also went to the Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson this weekend.

A friend of mine got me a beautiful sling when Matt was born and this is the first time he sat up in it. He loved being able to look around and I loved the free hands it gave me!!

OU/UT game weekend!

This weekend Evan (Nikki as Sam calls him) and Baba came for the OU/UT game! We had to represent when we went to Pete's this morning!!

Baba, Nikki, Susu, and Daddy headed to the State Fair this morning to get their fill of Fair Food before the game started at 2 - the kiddos and I have a full day of fun planned starting with pumpkin painting this morning - look for pictures to come!! :)
